Not only was the wedding event going to be spectacular but so was the letterpress printing! The solution was to design an extravagant yet elegant wedding invitation system. Set in the beautiful rolling hills of Maryland, the wedding was held at a vintage mansion estate. To reflect the era of the sophisticated building, the design had to also be as elegant, from the classically beautiful typography using actual wood block type and illustrated die cuts from the early 1900's, to the equally prestigious letter press printing. The wedding invitation arrived as a set that included the invitation as a champagne label, the RSVP postcard (made out of a poster) with a series of unique cards with different letters spelling out the word SPECTACULAR, and a luggage tag inspired info card. The RSVP postcards were then displayed at the actual event spelling out the word to make a unique, interactive and memorable wedding installation.
